It takes approximately 3 hours to cross over the Scottish border from my home in Codsall. It is then almost another 2 hours to reach the Forth Road Bridge. I experience a feeling of excitement when I am in the vicinity of the bridges. I can only describe it to be childlike as when the curtains are drawn open at a picture show or a pantomime. Whatever, it’s magnificent enough for me to describe it as a symbolic scene. Below are some pictures of mine from 2006.
