It takes approximately 3 hours to cross over the Scottish border from my home in Codsall. It is then almost another 2 hours to reach the Forth Road Bridge. I experience a feeling of excitement when I am in the vicinity of the bridges. I can only describe it to be childlike as when the curtains are drawn open at a picture show or a pantomime. Whatever, it’s magnificent enough for me to describe it as a symbolic scene. Below are some pictures of mine from 2006.

Been down mines they have down mines
in past times they have past times
Been down mines they have down mines
down mines in our ancestry

Sailed seas they have sailed seas
